Description: Browning A-5 Carrier Spring, New Style. This factory original steel carrier spring features a gloss blued finish and is for use in the newer original Browning A-5 shotgun models which place the carrier spring on the trigger plate rather than on the receiver. Designed to work for all gauge Old A-5 models including 12, 16 and 20 gauge, this spring applies tension to the carrier allowing for proper movement and travel.

This is a “New Style” Browning A-5 Carrier Spring. It is important to note that the A-5 has two different styles of Carrier Spring, the “Old Style” (See image below) and the “New Style”. The “New Style” Carrier Spring is installed on the Trigger Plate rather than in the Receiver.
