Description: AAC Ranger 5 RBP Suppressor, 5.56mm/6mm, Black. The Ranger suppressor series from Advanced Armament Company (AAC) is a versatile, rugged and easy-to-use can for 5.56mm and 6mm suppression. The suppressor is constructed from a Haynes 282 superalloy with a black Alphatek, low I/R non-reflective, coating. The Ranger 5 RBP utilizes the AAC 1.375″ x 24 HUB mount threads which allows for the installation of HUB-compatible adapters – sold separately. This suppressor fits rifles chambered in the 6mm family of calibers which includes 5.56x45mm, .223 Rem, 6mm ARC, 6mm PRC and .243 Win. The suppressor’s overall length is 5.625″ at 13.4oz. to provide a solid balance for your loadout needs. The 1.5″ diameter Ranger 5 RBP can reduce the sound by around 28 decibels and is full-auto rated.

The Ranger 5 RBP (Reduced Back-Pressure) is AAC first step into the gas mitigation market. With the new Double-Helix Gas System designed in house for gas mitigation, this can is able to reduce the majority of the gas coming back into the shooter’s face while not sacrificing sound and still providing AAC durability!

Double Helix Gas Internals – The Double-Helix Gas System design from AAC allows a portion of the propellant gas to flow quickly down the length of the suppressor before being speed-braked by a pair of helical geometric speed-bumps that are configured to promote one-way directional flow.
