Description
The Shadow Systems 5.56mm rifle and pistol are the new standard for quality and performance in a lightweight, military-grade carbine.Offered as a 16” rifle (U526) and an 11.5” pistol (E526), the platform prioritizes shootability, accuracy, and ruggedness without the unnecessary weight.
At its core is a hybrid-profile, chrome-lined barrel paired with a tuned gas system and a rigid handguard interface for stability under load. Proprietary components throughout the rifle, including the furniture, rail, trigger, and controls, ensure cohesive, predictable performance from the first shot to the last.
The U526 is a purpose-built 16-inch duty rifle engineered for shooters who value smooth recoil, consistency, and long-term reliability. Its intermediate gas system and hybrid-profile, chrome-lined barrel work together to deliver a refined shooting impulse across a wide range of ammunition. Designed as a complete system — not a parts-bin assembly — the U526 balances accuracy, durability, and control in a lightweight, hard-use configuration. This is a rifle built to run predictably when conditions and expectations are high.
