Description: Federal Premium 7mm Backcountry 195gr. Berger Elite Hunter Ammunition, 20 Round Box. Take long-range further. The Berger Elite Hunter offers some of the industry’s highest ballistic coefficients in a hunting bullet, and its thin-jacket design produces extreme hydrostatic shock and a massive wound cavity on impact. Loaded with Federal Premium components to incredibly tight tolerances, the loads produce lethal accuracy at extended distances. Available in Federal’s 7mm Backcountry cartridge, which provides magnum performance through compact, shorter-barreled, suppressed hunting rifles.
Features:
- Hybrid ogive blends the best aspects of tangent and secant nose shapes for a flatter trajectory and less wind drift
- Consistent core weight for more consistent ballistics and better accuracy
- Boat-tail provides an aerodynamic advantage at longer ranges, especially while transitioning to subsonic velocities
- 195-grain 7mm Backcountry offering
- Patented, one-piece, high-strength Peak Alloy steel case
- Outperforms conventional brass-case ammunition
- Optimized for shorter barrels to maximize velocity in compact or suppressed rifles
- Increased magazine capacity over magnum cartridges
